I light! It has a beautiful sense that comes from it's simplicity, but I would try a different composition. Try taking this with the front of the flower facing the camera, that way you would have some more details and with the proper f value I think you could have sth really nice in terms of DOF.
I would also play a little with shadows/highlights to make a rose a bit more lighter and with more detail. I really liked the shadow of the flower.

Good simple subject and composition. I'm not really fond of the shadows, both on the wall and on the flower. I'd play with the lighting a bit more.
